What people ask before they start
What can the people in my community do?
Read and post in channels, message each other, ask the AI questions about your documents, open a ticket and follow its progress, book a session with your team, join voice and video calls, and read the notes and resources you share.
Do I pay for every member?
No. Plans are sized by staff seats, the people on your team who run the workspace. Free includes up to 5, Pro up to 15 for $39 a month and Business up to 50 for $149 a month. Community members are unlimited on every plan.
Can I post announcements that only staff can write?
Yes. An admin can make any channel read-only, so only admins post and everyone else reads.
Where do the AI answers come from?
From your own workspace: the documents, web pages and notes you have added and the conversations in it. Answers cite their sources, and the AI says so when it has nothing to go on. It never draws on another organisation's content.
How do members sign in, and is there an app?
Members sign in with an email address, or with a Google or Microsoft account. Omnien runs in the browser and can be installed on a phone or computer, with push notifications.
Can a member reach a real person?
Yes. They can open a ticket that someone on your team owns, chat with your team live, or book a session in a free slot and meet by video.
Is our community private?
Yes. Each organisation's workspaces are isolated from every other organisation's, and members only see the workspaces they belong to.
